Ltd- Oil Temperature Sensor

Hi Everybody,

I found on my Ltd, that the oil temperature is not displayed on the dash. I searched where the sensor is situated on the engine but couldn't find anything about it. It is in the wiring diagram but this is it.

Every help is appreciated.

I'm thinking that it's a oil pressure sending unit.
Not positive but if you look on the right side of the engine block...on the top..above the brake lever area ..you may find a round fitting screwed into the block.It may be about 2 inches tall with a wire off the top of it.

It is possible that the pressure switch and the sensor are in the same housing, but I´m not sure.

Oil Pressure switch is where virgilmobile has explained. Here is a picture of this pressure switch:


The oil temp switch is on the lower front right side of the transmission case:
