screw on front fork ??

Hello everyone, I have a question about the screw on the bottom side of the front fork's? They have number's on it for each 1/4 turn position (1) threw (4) . Is this for the anti dive dampener, how do you adjust it , what is the recommended number ?

That is the TRAC adjustment that is for "anti-dive". Mine is on 3, I think 4 is max.

its the anti dive or trac system, number 1 being the softest through to 4 for hardest. both sides of the wheel must show the same number. it can also have a small effect on the type of ride. 2 to 3 seems to be about right for most.
