Re: pulse generator 1200ltd
The GR/GL sensors are 140 to 180 ohms. Are you having a problem?

Might be the throttle position sensor.

Re: pulse generator 1200ltd
Agree with Dave - a faulty TPS can operate your engine and no error code will show on the ECU - BTDT. A faulty TPS generally shows up in the lower rpm range and speeds. The TPS can also be affected by heat.
If the TPS is failing, you will get what seems to be a misfire but it is really ignition timing is not being exact. It can also be misconstrued as a fuel issue. If the TPS is bad enough, but not bad enough to trigger an error code, it will feel like the engine wants to stop and then keep going, in other words a very harsh misfire. Had this on my second '85 LTD. Changed the TPS and all went away.
Good luck.

Re: pulse generator 1200ltd
It is very difficult to check a TPS with a digital meter, they are never steady enough to be able to see the place where the fault is.
Re: pulse generator 1200ltd

Agree - looking for a used inexpensive oscilloscope to do testing.
