Low oil cutout switch
Is there a low oil cutout switch that prevents bike from being started? Oil light came on and starter will not initiate.

Re: Low oil cutout switch
The OEM gl1200 does not have a oil level sensor, just a pressure sensor.

Re: Low oil cutout switch
Did your oil light come on when the bike was running?

Re: Low oil cutout switch
Oil lamp came on during initiating start.
Starter initiated and then failed.
Bike did not start and oil indication did not clear.
Further investigation identified blown 10 amp fuse in ignition system.
Replaced fuse and attempted to start again.
Same results occurred.
Zeroed in on issue possibly related to Starter Relay coil defect.
Have ordered new Starter Relay.
Everything else appears normal.
