They are all 10x1.25mm thread size but they are all different. The upper are studs welded to the frame, the lower left & right are special bolts. https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/honda ... k-absorber

and the left lower bolt( part #18) is nicely tapered to easily slide in ...

The right lower ( part 19) is a shoulder bolt with a sharp corner, and ( %$#^%$ ) is VERY difficult to insert ..
I eventually rounded the corners slightly (about 1/8 chamfer ) and still had to use a small scissor jack with finger turning to raise and lower the rear arm just a smidgen so bolt could slide in .
Its a PITA !

thanks for the info sorry to say I have to replace the rear shocks on my interstate and on a very strict budget I needed the info to make sure I was getting the correct shocks

That would have been helpful to know. The upper mounts are 15mm I think, as well as the lower right, the lower left is 10mm.

I’m putting a “basket case” 1985 GL1200i back together and can’t find the upper nuts in the “basket” with the rest of the parts.

Off to the hardware store!

I very much appreciate all the great info on this site as I start putting this new to me Goldwing back together!
