fuel fuel pump relay

where is the fuel pump relay located on a 1985 Honda Goldwing Interstate? no power to the fuel pump It will not stay running! unless I keep dumping fuel in Intake I have taken off the carbs several times to check Main Jet & Low speed Jets Which are open.Help!

Iffin I recall it's up by the ignition coils.
However it's more likely that the pump has failed.
Test first...Disconnect the outlet of the pump from the carb...apply 12 volts to the disconnect pump wire...You may also have to include a ground(don't remember if it's one or two wire)green is ground.
The pump should start to thump and pump fuel.Maybe 3-4 thumps per second.If you squeeze off the fuel flow,the thumping slows to a stop.
The "relay" is unusual..it's a electronic switch.It will have power only with spark and only at the moment it has a draw of power from the pump.If the pump is Disconnect or not working the "relay" does not have any power on the wire to the pump...Been there,verified that.
The pump has a set of electrical contacts in it that connect power to it's coil when the pump is empty..this energizes the pump plunger to draw in fuel..a spring pushes the fuel out and closes the switch again for the next cycle.
Do check the contacts.
