starter repacking.
Hi,was wondering if anyone has to do as well,about every six months to a year I have to pull the starter and clean it up and repack with new grease so that it spins properly,is this a normal thing.???

I would not think you should need to repack it with grease every 6 months. Once every 6 years maybe...

I cleaned & repacked the 1200's in late 1990s when I did the "brush plate ground wire" addition mod … and the starter in the 1500 is as mother Honda shipped it in 1997
