engine not starting

hello all and merry Christmas

i just changed out a temp sub-harness..for a rookie it went well.
after putting radiator etc back on, i hooked up and replaced the false tank.. clicked on the run switch and hit the starter.
she fired right up. so i continued to tighten everything down.. when i finished, i tried to start her to take a ride and the fuel pump kicked on .... all lights came on... oil, fuel etc.. hit the start switch and nothing ?? i am lost. the bike and i are just having a starring contest
and it's winning. any advice where to start ?

I assume you men it doesn't crank, not that it cranks and won't start? Did you check that it is in neutral (light on) or try pulling in the clutch?
