"Rubber-skirt"

Post by benoit17180 »

Hello everyone,
When I had my first GL1200 in 1984, I found a drawing with dimensions to make a "rubber-skirt" to put in the back bags (right and left) to avoid the rise of the rain.
I can not find anything!
Would someone have this drawing in his archives?
Thank you all.

Never have I heard of this skirt's mention … but I have seen larger mud/rain deflector flaps cut from rubber like maybe discarded truck flaps? Should be easy to design what you want and cut using bandsaw I think.

I trimmed my 1200's rear small exhaust deflectors with slightly larger aluminum pieces polished …
