Does anyone know the size of socket I need to remove flywheel? Is there any secret way to remove is easier? I've got to remove in order to replace new starter drive chain and get motor back in frame, been down for over a month....thanks, Steve

It's going to be metric, so I generally just take my micrometer and measure across the flats - that will tell you the size of socket required.

Generally when it's a large, one-time use socket like that, I will go buy a cheapie at Harbor Freight. I'm still smarting from the $80 I dropped on a one-time-use socket I had to buy to change the bearing on my truck wheel.
