Hi,
Pulling back the rubber boot as a quick inspection of my U-Joint revealed some gritty metal bits. I think I've found a decent driveshaft and U-Joint in good condition to replace it.
Can you tell me if there are any seals I will need to replace if I go ahead?
Thanks....

No seals required. The output of the engine is a splined shaft. The U-joint has a female spline that fits onto it:Psycheonabike wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 4:36 pm Hi,

The other end of the U-joint has another female spline, and the driveshaft fits into it.
Just lube everything up well with high-moly paste and it all slides together.
The back end of the driveshaft that fits into the final drive has a rubber seal on it that fits into the final drive - make sure that seal is in reasonably good condition:

If the c-clip is still on the drive shaft FD end, OEM service manual recommends remove and discard. Make sure the spring is in the end of the drive shaft, if not, still available from Honda.
Good luck. Cheers

I've read that (or something similar) someplace, but I wondered then "why?", just make it easy to loose the spring sometime.
