Need positive vibes sending out to my Goldwing who has decided it wants to be a 900 triple

a friend of mine has a 30 year old goldwing, sundely he lost a cikinder working properly, can someone tell me what could be the problem?

30 years old, triple 900 with one cylinder down, I'd say it's a 1987 GL1200.

Did he wash it or leave it in the rain prior to this happening? If so one of the spark plug drain holes could be blocked.

Not confirmed but my guess.
A GL1200 divided by 4 cylinders is 300cc per cylinder..Running on 3 cylinders is a 900 triple.
I suppose all 4 running would be a 1200 fourple?
And 2 cylinders makes it a halfie(600cc)
Running on just one..Hmmmm..a onzie??(300cc)???
I've had all of these happen at one time or another but never described it in that way.

Correct, the OP posted he had a 900 triple, 30 years old, then WingAdmin asked what year and model the bike was, so I inferred from the data available.
