Inlet manifold bolt.

Post by Psycheonabike »

Hi...

I want ro remove the carbs to clean them. But one of the front right inlet manifold bolts is sheared. Fortunately it sheared mid way so is still holding the inlet pipe tight. Is there a way of removing the carbs by loosening the inlet rubber band insulator rather than the manifold?

Thanks...

Sure. I pulled my carbs out through the left side of the bike. You should be fine leaving the manifold there.
