Running lights elimination

Post by Bryan Harris »

Hi,

I would like to stop the pilot head light and rear lights from coming on as soon as the ignition is turned on and be able to switch them on using the light switch when I decide to.
Anyone know how to do it?
Thanks in advance.

It is not legal to do that in the USA. Do you know if this is legal in your country?

I would think the easiest way would be to switch the ground wire for them, then you could switch all of them on and off with one switch.

Thanks for the advice, sounds like it would work, do you know which wire that is or how I could find it? I've been looking at the wiring diagram but it makes my brain go into overload
