okay this is a bit weird, but for no reason the gear indicator on the LCD dash stopped working. Even stranger is it will show neutral "N", and the neutral light works, but, put it in gear then nothing.
So my question is anyone know what I should check, or any issues that is common to this problem?

Double check the ground. Experienced some strange dash behaviors and traced it back to a loose ground at the battery.

All is well, turned out the connector was a little loose.
