Question about 1984 GL1200 Aspencade

Post by darthsteven444 »

So recently found out that what i thought was my standard model of a 1984 GL1200 is actually a Aspencade model that someone tore down to make it look like a standard model my question is and sorry if this is not the right thread for this. But will a 1985 aspencade main front fairing with the headlight and instrument cluster ,saddle bags ,trunk and false tank fit onto my 1984 naked aspencade? I would love to be able to rebuild my Goldwing to look like its supposed to be. Thank you for any answers and reply's.

Darthsteven444,
I would be interested in talking a swap, my plastics for your "naked" parts. My bike is an 86 Aspy. My plastics were repainted Burgundy in 2014 with very few miles on it since. I didn't put all the badges back on because I wanted to refurbish them, but it is a PITA. Anyway, if you are interested, just PM me. Thanks,
Alan

I also have a big pile of Aspencade parts from an 84 that I would love to see go to a new home. I am making my 84 Aspy Naked.
