Gl1500 or 1800 headset

Will a Gl 1500 or 1800 headset work for a 1200? I have all the wiring just no headset. Thnx

All headsets are the same for all model Goldwings.

This help, it is for all Goldwings so equipped. When I got mine so many years ago, I first made my own, then later went with J&M. I did have to dig into left side fairing to find base chord, then I spliced some DIN ext cables from RS togetrher to outfit bike with front and rear plug in points, I could have use a J&M junction box, but I was not awash in funds for such.

Keep in mind, that diagram you posted, it is the DIN side (the round connector) that is the same for all Goldwings. However, the square Hitachi-style six pin connector (of which only five pins are populated) of that pigtail is different. On the GL1800, that connector is a male, on the GL1800, it's female, and on the GL1100 and GL1200 it's completely different altogether.

Yeah, my thoughts were more along on the DIN connector end, that whole pic wasn't needed, maybe none was of need?
