Thoughts on Color Tune
I have been looking at buying a Color Tune to help fine tune my '85. Has anyone used this before? Looks accurate and an easier way to get the mixture correct. Thoughts?

this device allows you to adjust the color of the flame in the cylinder but only at idle.

Re: Thoughts on Color Tune
I use one to set the idle mixture on all of my bikes. It can be used to see the mixture at any revs, but obviously you can't adjust mixture at higher revs without changing jets etc. It will allow you to compare mixtures from one cylinder to another so you can see if one or more is running rich or lean.
For setting the idle mixtures "by the book", you need an external tachometer, capable of reading small (50rpm) changes in rpm, but with Colortune, you don't, because you are actually seeing the mixture change.
