Gear indication from an Aspencade?

So, I took my Aspencade apart before I looked to see if there is any gear indication in the dash. Did the Aspy have that? I got an aftermarket "dash" gauge that has the gear indication in it and wanted to see if there was anything on the bike to attach it to.

What I see from the Standard wiring diagram there is a switch, but it only shows if it is in Neutral, Overdrive or 4th. Does the switch have the rest of the wires for the other gears?

Doing more searching it looks like there is more than 3 wires in the plug. Would anyone have a clip of the wiring diagram for this on the Aspencade?

According to the owners manual there is a full gear indicator circuit.

Well, I found the plug and it has 6 wires. From what I can tell the wires each go to ground in each position. So, N+5 speeds=6 wires. Now, I just need to figure out what wire is what.

A little update, due to the help here I got my new speedo with gear indicator working. I still need to finish up the wiring, but I confirmed that it does indeed work.
