87 Aspencade speedo cable

Post by grizltyear »

I had to put new rotors on my front wheel. after getting it all back together i have realized that the speedo will not fit with the new rotors. anyone have a suggestion on what I might be able to do to get this connected so it does not hit the rotor?

Thank you

Jeff

Pictures if at all possible. Is the center of the rotor smaller, is the offset different? You may have gotten the wrong rotor

You do have me curious

I will post picks when I get back home... but i think your right about the center being smaller. When I bought these I did not even think they would be smaller because I did use the make and model... I was hoping there might be a smaller speedo box at the tire.

Sure does look like the center is smaller. Probably would not cause any issues if it was an '84 Aspy with a digital speedo. That's why they can list it that way.

reviewing the order and double checking the website... I did indeed order the wrong rotors. and luck would have it that they do not sell the right rotors I need so I have to turn them in with a restocking fee and prob get store credit...
