Auto Volume Not Working

So I've noticed over the past week that the auto volume is doing nothing, regardless of how fast I'm going (10, 40, or 80 mph) and regardless of where the knob is. I fixed my speedo (the plastic ears were worn off down at the wheel hub) and got all my speedo functions working again but not auto volume. Where might I start checking this part out?

I'll point you to this schematic.
You should see a voltage pulse as the front wheel is turning.This pulse operates the spedo and comes out to feed the autovolume circuit.
