Re: Accident sensor
Yes. Honda refers to it as a "Bank Angle Sensor."

Tnx
From what I can see, the "bank" is only from the GL1500 and not Gl1200.
It look like, maybe, the LTD and the SEI have one, but not the ASP, correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Accident sensor
Sorry, my bad. You are correct. Only fuel injected GL1200s had the BAS.

Re: Accident sensor
To the best of my failing memory.
The 1200 you refer to has a fuel cutoff circuit(relay).
Should the engine stop(no spark),so does the fuel pump.
The safety is the fuel stops flowing when the spark stops.
The 1500 does have a "bank angle sensor".
Should the bike tip on its side,it kills power to the ignition..and that shuts off the fuel pump power.
It is possible to fit a bank angle sensor to any bike and properly connect it to kill the ignition for additional safety.

My son is going to enjoy it for many years to come.
Re: Accident sensor
Unrelated to the bike, but Garmin has several Dashcams with EVENT detection,
this is one, I bought one 2 years ago for $59.95 and it is not available anymore?

this is the cheapest model, mine is a '30', no longer made.
