Looking for left Side trunk lids Honda gold wing gl1200 85

I am looking for a left side trunk lid for my 1985 gold wing aspencade gl1200a. Mine flew off some were on I80 in east Nebraska between Lincoln and Omaha. I have been up and Dow the highway and can’t find it. If any one know of one that will fit my bike with the chrome rail on top please let me know.

Good luck. That chrome rail was aftermarket too.

People have laughed at me locking mine before departure on rides. I never in 24 years of ownership of my '85 put it in gear unless the saddle bag locks were locked. Was a ritual just like securing my helmet strap. I knew better since meeting a fellow and his wife up on Mt. Mitchell in 1995 before I even had a GL (I was looking though) and his SEi was missing the left lid. Even in 1995, he was having a hard time finding one.

If you find one on E-bay, best jump on it.

Check ebay as they have many listed and you might find your old one, I lost the left one from my 85 Vintage red, could not find one so bought a matching pair in Silver and they looked great with the Red and silver pin strip on my bike . Good luck.
