I have a barn find 86 1200 SEi project, the first thing I need some input on from you more knowable folks is it has no spark. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum. We're glad you are here and would like to help you.
It's hard to get a meaningful response to such a broad or vague inquiry.
Try to do some topic searches, and start with some basic tests or observations, so we have something to go on.
To begin, try this for a starting point...
Stop switch in the "On" position?
Measure voltage at the + side of the coils (black/white wire). Got 12 vdc with Ign switch ON??
If not, check Ign Sw and Stop Sw.
