need help getting nut off the Transmission
Hi, Goldwing people, I need to take apart my motor so I can put in new positions because. I have a big hole in one. But I can not because of I this nut I have to get off I do not what size it is and what to use on it. can anyone help me please I uploaded pics so you can see. what I am talking about

You can buy a tool for it, but I'd probably just go buy a cheap deep-well socket and grind it into shape, like I did to make this steering stem bearing nut removal tool:

From what I can see in the pic it looks flush with the seal but if it is proud of the seal could you maybe chase it off with a drift? If not maybe you could pull the seal out and gain purchase? I’m just spitballing.
And yeah, what happened?
Or is that even a seal we’re looking at?
If that is the flywheel could you just lock the engine and build a tool to rotate the whole assembly?

Look very carefully there and you'll see a snap ring to pry off. Then the clutch basket just slides off.
