Good morning GWer's
Bike- 1986 Honda GW GL1200 I.
After purchasing my GW, I noticed the lower bolts on both sides are missing for the bolt that attaches to the lower frame of the bike for the saddle bags from the PO. Does anyone know the bolt head size, coarse or fine thread, and length of bolt. The service manual doesn't the actual size of the bolts in the manual. Thank you for your input.

I think the bolt you're asking about is this one?
If so, it is an M8 x 16mm flange bolt, part number 95701-08016-00
I don't recall for 100% sure, but I believe these to be 1.25mm thread pitch.

Looks to me like it'll maybe be #27 in that diagram.
Bolt, flange, 8x15mm 90109-MG9-770
That #37 is where the saddle bag supports attach to the trunk support #18 at the long tabs on the under side of bar.
