Bumper and light bar install??

Post by rigginray »

Can someone help with directions to install the Drag specialties bumper and upper light bar. I bought it off someone who removed it from a 86 Aspencade. I have no directions on install or wiring instructions! My ride is a 85 Interstate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, I'm confused. The first post is by RigginRay back in 2011.

How are you, 38 Wing, connected? And are you sure it's a Drag Spec part?

38wing, when I come up there next weekend, we'll look into that also. I've put a bumper light bar on my 1100 and i'll tell ya, rewiring it was a nightmare, but with some time and patience, it will work. They all have to wired in sync with the power and ground wires. I even went and bought a chrome "add on" Goldwing plate that I drilled holes for 3 toggle switches, one for the trunk lights, one for the bumper lights and one for my manual electric radiator fan.

I have pictures of it somewhere. I'll try to find it and post it so you can see it.

Stuart.
