GL1200 stator

Post by 5str48 »

Want to replace the stator on 85 GL1200. Are most aftermarket stators pretty much the same as far as reliability, or are some better than others?

I used Rick's since everyone that has is satisfied.
Cautionary note: Make sure ALL connections in the power and charging circuit are good and DON'T use any of those blue snap on connectors for auxillary lighting, etc.
Good insurence to prevent future stator failure - PAIN-IN-THE-BUTT to change out stator!
Kinda into HONDA machines!
