fuel pump fuse.

Post by roallen »

Ok Friends
Here is my latest adventure. I went to start the bike and she would crank but not start.
After checking a couple of things i focused on the fuel pump. I checked the fuse and it was good as my neutral and oil lights were both on.
I did direct connect from fuel pump to battery and pump worked.
Before doing anything else I replaced the fuse on a whim and she started right up. I put the old fuse back in and no start but oil and neutral lights work
so has anyone else ever had a semi bad fuse?

Yes. The fuse element can crack, so that it works intermittently.

Glad you found the problem!
