Fuel pump, 87 Gl1200i

Original is no longer available. 16700-ML8-601. Mine died 11/2019, replaced it and now having problems. Does anyone have specs for the original? I've seen versions with 6mm (1/4") in and out, 8mm (5/16") and 10mm. Petcock takes 1/4" fuel line as well as carb connections. Fuel filter I took off was 1/4" also. From the dealer, the new fuel filter is 5/16". The new fuel pump has 5/16" pipe in/out. Forgot to look at old pump before tossing it, yeah stupid me. Thanks for all your help.
