removing the helmet locks ?

hi all,
is it possible to remove the helmet locks from the rear trunk frame area ?

Yes, you can. Standing behind the bike, the holder on the left is held on by two bolts (possibly with lock nuts) and the right one is held on by two screws. You will have to remove the trunk to access the right one, and it might also make removing the left one easier as well.

on my bike .. the locks look riveted on

Hmmm can you post pictures?

yes i can and will post pics .. maybe tomorrow tho
drill .. maybe that'll be my only option ..ifn i can find how to get a drill in there ..

if i could find a seat bar from an 84 standard .. and use that .. it would solve two problems anyhow

maybe i need to go out to bobs used cycle ?

I've had success there in the past. Bring tools.
