Fuel pump replacement melts ignition fuse

So I have a 1985 Aspencade and had a weak pump. Got a new pump for a 85 carburated prelude and wired it up to the correct sides of the plug and it will crank for few seconds then blows the Ignition fuse (10A). Should I attempt to step up to like a 15 amp fuse or bigger to compensate for the slightly larger pump on starting?

Add a relay to power the pump like it was in the Prelude.
