Fuel Pump Relay...How to Get to it?

I've got an 84 1200 standard. My fuel pump is DEAD. Before replacing
I read to jump the RELAY first to see if that's the problem

I know where it's at but how to get to it is the ??

Do I have to remove the seat and fake tank, or is there
a trick to check relay w/o doing all that?

I got it, but it's NOTHING like I have read or seen.
If anyone wants to know how to do it on a standard anytime
