Hello, I have a 1984 Honda Goldwing Interstate 1200gl, I have recently replaced the fuel pump and fuel pump relay. the pro lem is that the fuel pump does not turn off and is flooding the carburetors.
I do not have a fuse for the fuel pump, and when I purchased the bike, they had routed the pump straight to the auxiliary so was also running constantly. I had gotten it to work properly but went back to keeping constantly on. Am I missing something?

Re: Fuel pump cutoff
The fuel pump will stop being able to push gas into the carbs if the float valves are seated properly. If it's flooding, they probably are stuck open, or damaged.
