Please help me find the choke on this bike

I font understand it. My choke cable is still disconnected bc for the life of me, I can not find the choke. I'm used to much more basic bikes. I really love this recent purchase and it will be fulfilling, no doubt, but it's a project and a 1/2 for now.

Hello, I have an 84 GL1200. I could not figure out where the choke was either. I pulled the cabs and plenum and found the choke at the bottom of the plenum on the left hand side as you sit on the bike. I had to partially remove the carbs and pulls it towards me to get ti the choke cable barrel nut.
