Poor Boy Conversion Kit Pully

Post by Clarence&Patti »

We are attempting to install a homemade "poor boy kit" on our 1987 Aspencade 1200. (Don Pigott no longer sells them). My question is, what kind of pully do you use that goes on the front of the engine on the timing gear bolt? We are getting a Geo Metro alternator. Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you!

Check out the local auto wrecker for an early model Prelude power steering pump pulley. Need a 1" spacer in behind the pulley to keep it far enough out to miss the timing belt covers.
