ECU Coupler and Inspection Adapter?

Post by 8bitopa »

What and/or where are these 2 things? They're referenced often in the shop manual for a few things I want to start looking at.

I have being testing sensors in my 85 GL1200 limited and also got this question
I don't know if this inspection adapter is a tool that's only available to mechanics. But seems like it's something really simple and can be DIY'd

The interesting part to me is that nowhere in any of the tools sections of any manuals I've looked at list this tool. From a very limited search, I think I may have found it. I cannot confirm though.

07GMJ-ML80100

You're right though. It looks like it could be fairly easy to DIY. Just need the right connector housing and pins for it.

I think 07999-MG90100 is for GL1200 Limited.

The part number you posted seems to have a square connector

My local Honda dealer (which is the largest one in eastern Ontario) says 07999-MG90100 is discontinued and there is no official substitute for it.

Saw some on ebay. Did they confirm that was the right one for the 1200 LTD?
