Does anyone have the official figures for the power and torque output of the fuel injected models?
I have the figures for the carbureted ones, but see multiple reports of the FI versions having noticeably more 'oomph', but I cannot find any figures to back this up. Were there any figures published that showed this increase in power and/or torque?
Hopefully someone has the original brochure or spec sheet that can confirm either way.
Thanks.

Re: Ltd/SEi specs
This is the info I've gleaned off the web:
GL1200 HP 94 HP at 7000 RPM (70 kW)
GL1200 Torque - 77.4 ft-lbs. at 5,500 rpm (105 Nm at 5,500 RPM)
Alternator (3 part system) - stator output at approximately 5500 RPM - 500 watts
Weight in the range of 780 pounds.
Standing 1/4 mile: 13.49 seconds at 97.2 MPH
Top speed in 1/2 mile: 108 MPH
Top speed acceleration: 40 to 60 MPH – 8.2 seconds 60 to 80 MPH – 10.1 seconds
Don't believe there was any difference in the specs between the carb and FI models. If there is, it's miniscule.

Re: Ltd/SEi specs
Yes, they look like the standard 1200 specs. I'm not entirely surprised the FI models were the same, but many reports state how much more 'powerful' the FI versions feel. Oh well.
Thanks for getting back to me on that.

I had an '84 and a '86SEi
this was 15 years ago, and the best that I can remember, both of them were screamers.
115 mph in 4th gear easily.
