86 gl1200 aspencade vent lines
I got my bike rebuilt carbs but the upper vent t is not connected to anything just sticks up in-between carbs on each side. The lower tube goes to low air valve. Every diagram shows the lower tubes go but where is the top vent tube go? Mine just open pointed up between . I feel that they should be not open at least filtered. Any help please.

I been told connect to fresh air tubes mine someone thought were drains for fairing and cable tied to frame
