Down the final stretch of my 1987 aspencade restoration. Buffing chrome pieces which with this bike seems to be an endless! Whoever owned this back in the day , spent a small fortune on these aftermarket pieces. Almost every inch of this bike has some sort of chrome attached. Even the forks! Anyway, here is a piece which there are two of so I’m guessing one on each side?
Where does this go?
Thanks for you help !
Can you identify this chrome piece?

In that case, I think they go over the gap behind the engine, above the transmission.

Don’t think it goes there. Here’s what’s on there now. Still have to attach driver and passenger floorboards.

Re: Can you identify this chrome piece?
By now I guess you found out where this piece goes
, but just in case...... on mine there is a chrome piece covering the carb intake tubes. Between the bottom of the fairing and the cylinder heads. Perhaps it belongs in this area
.
