86 Aspencade Brake line location

Post by Fasterest »

Hello all new to the forum!
I was replacing my brake lines on the front end and forgot how to orient the line holder that's under the black plate above the forks. The thing I'm talking about looks like a paper clip. I was wondering if any one had a picture so I could reassemble it properly.

I may still have that on my parts bike. I'll check tomorrow.

I replaced the brake hoses on my 1984 GL1200A with braided stainless steel hoses this past December. The hose from the front master cylinder is now a single piece instead of 3 pieces.

Thank you so much! my mystery has been solved!
I had been trying to put it in the wrong location this whole time. It is the one on the left side of the zip tied stainless steel brake line.
