hi all have a 2 part question in regards to dyna beads
just replaced both front and rear tires
first time i have decided to go with dyna beads poured them into the front tire and like a nubee lost about a half ounce on the ground
dont ask how but it was a dumb thing to do ( laid tire on its side) any way i saw the artical in Augusts news letter in regard to the beads and some people have said that not enough wont work but to much wont hurt is that true if so can i just add another ounce into the tire and be good to go.
second question is will to much dish soap inside the tire have any effect on the beads doing their job
i really poured the soap to the tire bead when installing and a lot went inside the tire
any comments would be of great help
oh i forgot to say that right now i get a small bounce in the front wheel or handle bars at about 113 to 115 klm per hour and turns into a vibration at 115 to 125 is this because of wrong amount of beads

Re: balancing beads
First, I’d like to say that you are not the first to lose a few balance beads. Less than the suggested two ounces in a tire is not a bad thing because you can usually add more through the valve stem if necessary.
Next, using dish soap as a lubricant on your aluminum wheels is a bad idea. It will corrode the aluminum in short order. You should always use a lubricant recommended for tire mounting.
And, using too much lubricant is not good if you use balance beads. The beads will clump up in the excess lube and not be effective in keeping your wheel and tire balanced.
It sounds to me like you need to remove the tires and clean out the beads and excess lubricant. Then get a proper substance to mount the tires and start over.

Re: balancing beads
Do not leave that dish soap in there very long.
After a year or two, this is what the wheels may look like:
