Gl1200 engine side covers

In my never-ending search to make this bike perfect (86 gl1200a) I'm going to start searching for engine side covers, I think they're a good touch. I've seen the chrome ones by showchrome, though I seem to remember there being plastic covers that looked much more factory. Does anyone know who made them or what they'd be called? Seems like hens teeth.

I bought mine from Markland (out of CA) in '88. They are called engine cover and came in the color of the bike. Best of luck finding any...

Markland, that helps. Gotta keep the searches active, eventually something will come around. Whether the chrome or if I can find those. Paint matching could get spicy but thats for another day.
