fuse for fuel pump

I installed a new pump on my 1984 Aspy, but am having trouble getting power to the pump. It might be the relay or is there actually a fuse for this. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

Have you checked for power at the relay?

|No I did not yet A friend of mine had the same problem and he hooked his up directly to the key. I wonder if this woild work?

Before making any changes, it's good to actually find out what is wrong. It could be a simple fix.
