Just checking that I have my facts straight on a 1200 I have just bought. Details are:
VIN 1HFSC0451FA114500
Engine number SC1E2512527
Bike is light blue with darker blue panels
I think the bike is a 1985 GL1200 Aspencade (California model)
Second question. How difficult it it to get rid of the ugly canister on the right hand side of the bike, just to the rear of the oil filler car?

being in da UK, i bet you need that can for some of those team green inspections yall gotta pass? put it in a baggie and keep for next inspection.
