How to dismantle the instrument control modules?

Hey all! Im trying to figure out how to get inside of these little gl1200 instrument control module things, I want to modify one I got off ebay and clean the ones that are already on the bike, they're full of what looks like rubber-rot and feel awful, and keep sticking and false-triggering. But I cant figure out how they come apart! Would honda make something that's actually plastic welded together?

Some of those are sealed at the factory.

That's going to make cleaning them very difficult haha! Luckily I've got this sacrificial one so, maybe I can experiment with getting it apart.
