I have read a number of articles on other models but can find nothing on changing the Front Speakers on a 1986 1200A Aspencade.
I have been told I can just pop off the grills and undo the screws and replace the speakers. Is this true????
Other models seem to need to have to remove parts of the fairing what is correct?
Thanks

Yeah, I think there's a screw under the Honda logo on the grill, then a couple of tabs. Then four screws for the speakers.
The the speakers come out pretty easily as I recall.
The only trouble I had was finding speakers that fit. Several had additional tweeters and such built in and they stick out too far to put the grills back on.

Thanks- that is what I thought - Sierra has replacement speakers and I should be able to fit them in myself.
As a side note I found a cassette on Amazon that you charge with a USB and it changes the cassette to accept Bluetooth- So I not really been listening to the radio, I have been streaming music from my phone to the radio without wires.
So some newer speakers would be nice
