Fuel pump question

Fuel pump question
My 84 interstate has an aftermarket fuel pump. I'm restoring the bike and wanting to go back to original style pump. My question is are the $79 pumps any good? I can only find one Honda pump and it's $249 so I'm looking for a more affordable option. Thanks in advance

Another quick question. If I leave the aftermarket pump on willmit hurt the carbs to run like a car fuel pump it seems to shut off after it builds pressure.
