Timing mark help
Im putting timing belts on my 84. The right side cam pulley as your sitting on the bike. When the word up is in the up position the timing mark is not lined up with the mark on the case and when the mark is lined up the word up is offset to the outside. I had the pulley off doing valve seals so I don't know the original position. So my question is which mark do I go by?

I've seen that pic before and it makes sense but with mine when the word up is in the 12 o'clock position the other mark is off.

Re: Timing mark help
Got it figured out. I tried to put the covers back on and the right side wouldn't fit. The gear was on backwards. Thanks everyone
