Compressor control panel

Post by TreeLad »

Hi all. 1984 Aspencade.

Somehow I've managed to crack the plastic panel round the suspension/compressor controls.

Can anyone tell me how I get it out for repair? I'm assuming it's maybe dummy tank off and get to it that way? Does it just pop out if pressed from behind?

Do you stand on your head to set the pressures?

The cover is retained by spring clips, one in each corner. Pry carefully with a flat blade screw driver or automotive trim removal tool. The panel on my '84 Aspy was cracked so I kept an eye on Ebay until a good one showed up.

Thanks for that. I'm keeping an eye open but I'm told they're hens teeth PLUS I'm in UK which makes it harder. Getting one over from America (or bloody anywhere since bloody Brexit) would cost a fortune, so thinking repair best bet.
Thanks again for the help.
